Showstopper Dining Room

Project Overview:

The goal of this project was to make the dining room into a show stopper and the focal point of this new build home.

Making a statement was key since it’s one of the first rooms you see from the entryway. We had designed the first floor of this home and had to keep in mind the overall color palette of neutrals, black and mustard. With the adjacent family room being more subdued it was decided to go bold with black and white wallpaper and mustard velvet draperies.

The dining room features a beautiful live edge table over 100” inches long made from a slab of Black Walnut by a local craftsman.

The chairs are kid friendly and there is no rug to make for easy clean up.
