Essentially, we brought this home out of the 80’s. There was honey oak throughout, a dated stone fireplace and dark cherry cabinets. We chose a contemporary design that reflects now! All the floors and stair rails were re-stained a rich brown to created a neutral backdrop for the grey, royal blue and white color scheme. We focused on the height of the ceilings in the living room by placing large artwork to the second level and hanging multiple whimsical chandeliers. The kitchen was a simple fix! The cabinets were painted to a crisp white and we added new lighting to modernize the space.
